Abstract
Leadership is often viewed as a set of individual attributes or competencies. But leaders can’t exist without followers.  From this perspective, leadership is really a social vs. individual phenomenon. By analyzing social relationships, organizational network analysis (ONA), provides unique insights into leadership.  This session will share how ONA can help identify, assess, and develop leaders. Participants will learn about this innovative approach as well as conduct an analysis of their very own personal network.
