At Organizational Development Services at Widener University, we provide a volunteer yearly assessment battery to first-year doctoral students. The purpose of these assessments is to increase professional competency. First-year students are provided with feedback and goaling to help them identify what they need to successfully progress through graduate school and in their professional careers. This poster will review the process of the Developmental Assessment Program (DAP) and will provide the results of an outcome evaluation about the students’ experience. In particular, the poster will highlight the potential benefit for students’ leadership and professional development as clinical psychologists.
