About the Opportunity
Strategic Talent Solutions is hiring a Principal Consultant to join the STS team of consultants with a focus on their Energy and Utility Services. The Energy and Utility Team has built a best-in-class practice that develops and propels individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve exceptional operational results. This high impact work is grounded in deep industry experience, insights from outcome research, and client feedback.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a consulting firm whose clients include Fortune 500 and international organizations across a wide range of industries, with a concentration in mid-cap organizations. The Principal Consultant role will allow you to work directly with best-in-class consultants and practices as well as develop an in-depth knowledge of the firm’s proprietary service offerings.

Qualifications and Competencies:
The ideal candidate has a passion for people and organizational issues. The right candidate is a quick study, a self-starting team player, who can work autonomously across the firm’s many nuclear client sites. Locations of travel include LA, MS, GA, AL, MA, CT, NM, and Washington DC. The right candidate is comfortable engaging a wide variety of professionals all with the common thread of nuclear power experience. A candidate with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, while managing a demanding professional travel schedule is a plus. Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critically important.
STS Consultants have interpersonal maturity and a self-assured and positive attitude. Strong analysis and computer skills are a plus. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) is beneficial.
Ideally qualified candidates have an advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) in Psychology, (Industrial/Organizational, Clinical, Counseling). However, strong consideration will be given to candidates with assessment and development experience who hold advanced degrees in a related field.
This is a full time consulting role.
Travel expectations range from 50%+
