SCP Annual Conference is an annual event that brings together professionals, thought leaders, and experts from diverse fields. Our 2026 Society of Consulting Psychology Annual Conference promises to deliver a high-impact experience for attendees. We invite you to submit proposals for engaging and thought-provoking sessions that align with year’s conference is Level Up!
February 6-7, 2026 | Las Vegas, NV
What We Are Looking For
Level Up is both a call to action and an opportunity for consulting psychologists to showcase who we are and what we bring to the world. It is an invitation to elevate our expertise—enhancing our skills, adopting innovative methodologies, and embracing emerging technologies—to better serve our organizations and clients.
But leveling up isn’t just about individual growth—it’s about redefining our profession within the marketplace. We are urged to actively shape how consulting psychology is perceived by corporate executives and policymakers, highlighting the unique value and impact we bring to organizational success and policy development.
Throughout this conference, we aim to inspire attendees to push beyond traditional boundaries, tackle complex challenges with renewed vigor, and contribute to the advancement and visibility of our field. Level Up underscores the importance of continuous growth, strategic branding, collaboration, and advocacy to enhance our profession’s credibility.
This is your opportunity to share your insights, research, and best practices to help consulting psychologists advance their skills and impact. We welcome submissions for that align with this year’s theme, including but not limited to:
-
Navigating uncertainty and disruption in organizations and society
-
Next level business development and skill-building for consultants
-
The future of research-driven approaches to leadership and team effectiveness
-
Emerging technologies in consulting psychology
-
Cutting-edge assessment and intervention strategies
-
Reimagining stakeholder well-being and resilience
-
New coaching strategies for high-impact leadership
-
Innovative techniques for facilitating lasting change
Session Types
This year, we will have several types of learning sessions. This Call for Proposals is NOT for the TEDx event – we are working through the process of licensing with TEDx and will send out a separate call for proposals for TEDx talks once our plans are finalized.
-
60-minute concurrent sessions
-
2-hour “mega-sessions” (only a select few will be offered)
-
4 or 8 hour workshops (4-hour workshops are preferred, but exceptional 8-hour workshops will be considered)
Note: SCP will pay workshop presenters. Selected workshop speakers earn $50 for the first 15 people in their session and then an additional $15 for each one after. Any workshop that is selected that doesn’t have 10+ paid attendees will be cancelled. SCP does NOT pay for mega- or concurrent or sessions.
Submission Guidelines
To be considered as a speaker, please be prepared to submit the following via our online portal:
-
CV highlighting your relevant experience
-
Any supporting materials required
-
CE information (SCP strives to offer as many APA and ICF CEs for attendees).
-
Submission Deadline: June 30, 2025
Note: All speakers are required to register and pay for their conference registration.
Important Update on Submission Timing
This year, we’re opening the call for proposals earlier and extending the submission deadline by one month—a direct response to past years when deadline extensions significantly compressed our review process and CE approvals. By making this change, we’re ensuring ample time for careful review, thoughtful selection, and a seamless conference experience. This is your opportunity to be part of the lineup from the start!
Selection Process
Our expert review committee will evaluate all submissions based on relevance, originality, alignment with the theme, and potential impact. Priority will be given to sessions that truly embody the Level Up spirit—showcasing bold, cutting-edge ideas that push the boundaries of consulting psychology. We’re especially excited to welcome fresh voices and diverse perspectives, particularly from individuals who haven’t presented at an SCP conference before or in recent years. Additionally, we’re seeking highly interactive, hands-on sessions that equip attendees with practical skills and actionable tools they can immediately apply to elevate their consulting game. If your session challenges conventional thinking and inspires real-world impact, we want to hear from you!
Accepted sessions will be notified by October 1, 2025.
We look forward to receiving your proposals and welcoming you as a speaker at 2026 SCP Annual Conference! For questions or inquiries, please contact one of the conference co-chairs: Jamie Lewis Smith or Daniel Cruz Lattimore.
We will always consider proposals in other areas that expand the knowledge base of our profession and align with SCP Values. https://www.societyofconsultingpsychology.org/about-scp/
