Do you want to learn more about how psychologists make a difference in the lives of leaders, teams and organizations? Do you aspire to a career in the field of consulting psychology? If you want to discover a professional community that can advance your career potential, come participate in our Graduate Student Consortium.

The Society of Consulting Psychology is Division 13 of the American Psychological Association. Each year, members of gather in early February to share best practices, learn from and with each other, and experience being part of a supportive professional community. The day preceding our annual conference, we will also hold a Graduate Student Consortium, open to anyone enrolled in graduate-level psychology programs. During this full day event you will:

We know that participating in events like this one increases your capacity to get value out of a larger professional conference. We also know that some of the people you meet may become important parts of your professional network as you seek future employment and consulting opportunities. Significant mentor and peer relationships can emerge from experiences like this.
For those interested, the Consortium also provides an opportunity to present and discuss some aspect of your own work to other consulting psychology students and professionals.

The consortium runs from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Who can attend? Any graduate student in an advanced level psychology program (MA, MS, PhD, PsyD, MPS) in any field of psychology (I-O, Social, Clinical, Counseling, etc.)

Registration Opens November 1, 2024. Registration deadline to attend the Graduate Student Consortium is Dec 1.

The deadline for those wishing to submit a presentation is November 7 – see attached description of guidelines for presentations.

Cost: Register for conference and consortium together, at a special student rate: $150. There are several options to also volunteer during the conference in lieu of the registration fee. If interested, contact Heather Kennedy at heather@div13.org
